Review: Innisfree Mineral Melting BB Cushion

Hey guys! I'm back with an review on Innisfree's Mineral Melting BB cushion!! I have heard so many great things for the Innisfree's Melting Foundation Fitting but haven't heard much from this BB Cushion, so I decided to try this out! Some of you guys requested this in my November favourites so here it is!

THE PACKAGING

Honestly I much prefer this packaging to Etude house's bb cushion because I think this one is more simple and sleek! I also like the shape of this, however one down side to the packaging is that it opens really easily! It keeps on opening by it self! It also has a separator between the sponge and the cushion so the sponge won't soak up all the product! I brought this when it was in offer and it came with some make up removing wipes and lots of samples and miniatures which is great for travelling!! And another good thing about this is that you can get a refill instead of buying a new one.

APPLICATION & RESULTS

I use this BB cushion nearly everyday now. It has a very natural and glowy skin finish! It is also quite sheer but you can easily build it up!! I generally put a very thin layer on since I use it like a sun cream since it has SPF 50 PA +++. One thing I like this bb cushion more than my Etude House Precious Mineral Any Cushion is because I feel like it has a much better lasting power (6-7+ Hours). Both bb cushions are great but I feel like Innisfree's bb cushion feels slightly lighter and less dewy (which isn't always a bad thing).

  3. The Innisfree cushion sounds really good! I don't really like too much of a dewy finish, and I already know that the Etude House BB creams are too dewy on me and don't stay on my face for more than 2 hours. I actually ordered the Holika Holika cushion, but if that fails me, I'll probably want to try Innisfree since I already like a lot of their products. Does it come in just one shade or a few?

    1. Yeah, Etude House's BB creams tend to be on the dewy side which is okay in the winter but in the summer is just too much since I have oily skin as well! You should try it, it is worth it!! And it comes in 3 shades!

  5. I've seen this all over the place at my local asian cosmetics store. I've been really tempted to get it, but again, I've read a lot of the finish being dewy. OTL
My face is already super oily, so I don't know if it'd melt off or not-
I'll be sure to ask about this the next time I go shopping!
Thank you for the review! <3

  15. I have the Etude House one right now and I was originally going to stick with it since it didn't break me out, but your review is convincing me to try the Innisfree one! Etude's one doesn't last very long on me either :( Just wondering, is the coverage about the same as Etude's, or sheerer? Thanks for the review!

    1. Hi thanks for commenting and sorry for the late reply! I think this Bb cushion is just slightly sheer-er than the etude house one. But it is build able. You can build it up without look cakey! :D

    2. Just wondering, which colour did you use for the Etude House any cushion? I have it in w24 and I'm thinking of getting the Innisfree mineral cushion cause of your review haha~~ Only problem is that I don't know if I should get 02 natural beige or 03 true beige since I've never tried any Innisfree base products ^^;

    3. For the Etude House I have it in shade W13 (which is a tad bit too light for me but it is okay when it oxides.) But I feel like innisfree's shades are generally a little darker than etude house's. So If you are W24 the I would recommend 02 but honestly I don't think the shade between 2 and 3 is that different and plus if your skin isn't too dark then I go for 2 since when the bb cushion oxides on your skin it does go a little darker. Hope this helps, but since I don't have a innisfree or a etude house store at where i live I cannot exactly go and swatch them! The shades that i got was recommended by the sales assistance when I was in Hong kong. :D I hope you like this product.

    4. Awesome, thanks! Yeah I don't live in Asia so I pretty much have zero access to swatches in stores :( My skin isn't too dark so I'll probably take your advice and go for #2 :)

    5. I have been wanting to try this BB coushion, but not sure which shade to get, I am NW30. This is the second time I am reading your review coz i can't decide which shade to choose from.

      Delete
    6. Hey! I'm not an expert but from the swatches I've seen of NW30 I think no.3 will probably work out for you! Hope you like this Bb cushion as much as me! And I hope you get the right shade! Sorry if I weren't much help! X

  16. i've used the Etude House Precious Mineral Any Cushion but one big thing i dun like about this one is the puff tended to absorb lots of foundation after several using times and so made later applications quite caky for me. Does the Innisfree cushion have the same problem? If not I'll consider trying this one. Thanks fren!

    1. Hey sorry for the late reply! I've own both bb cushions but I personally do t think it soaks up all the product since BB Cushion is supposed to give just the right amount of product. Maybe you should press lighter on the BB cushion and slowly build up the coverage.

  17. hello~
I just read your review on the innisfree mineral melting bb cream cushion and i've decided to purchase one to try out. however im totally not sure if i should buy the natural beige 2 or the truly beige 3. do you know which swatch is the closest to missha m perfect cover's no.23? if not could you please give me your mac shade so i could try to guess which shade i should purchase? thank you! lol i feel like im asking for a lot.

    1. Hey Jessie! I personally don't own Missha perfect cover BB cream but judging from the swatches I've seen from other blogs I think you should go for No.3 truly beige. I remember swatching no.3 and no.2 and the different really am not that big.

  18. Hi thanks for writing a review! Does this cushion cling on to dry patches? And I was also wondering if this cushion fits in the Etude house any cushion :o so it'd be cheaper if you just buy the refill?

    1. Im actually not sure if the refill will fit in the Etude house container but they both have 15g of product so it may do. Also I personally have oily skin but when I do get small dry patches i don't feel like the cling on to them. Thanks for dropping by!

    2. Oh ok thank you! I was just wondering because I noticed you also purchased the Etude House any cushion :o
